Kayla
Whitney is a roaming artist who was born and raised in Chatham Ontario.
A graduate from the OCAD University and recipient of a Bachelor of Fine
Arts from the Drawing and Painting Thesis program. Based in drawing her images
are a delicate blend between painterly expressions and the intimate detail that
comes with line. Exploring the relationship between initial compulsion and the
reactions which follow, these images are born through an intricate process of
layering allowing previous gestures to dictate the next until the final image
reveals itself.
